Arik's Future on Idea Central
Since some of you know, Arik069 has been abusing his admin rights for 2 years. And the only reason he couldn't be stopped is because he has bureaucrat rights.
This blog will decide if Arik will keep his bureaucrat rights or if he has to give them up on his own behalf.
You can voice your support or opposition in the comments section below.
The deadline for the decision to take effect is August 31st, 2019.
How to make the Wiki more active?
in spite of being affiliated with Game Ideas Wiki(which itself isn't very active) and Idea Wiki, this wiki is basically dead. if by any chance anyone comes here by, then please give me advices.
MoMA now features video games!
My mom told me today that she wanted to show me a news story she was really excited about, and it turns out that MoMA (the Museum of Modern Art) has acquired copies of 14 different games that they feel are exceptional in their design, such that they can elicit thoughts about life, aesthetic complexity, space, and time.
They're featuring 14 games right now, among them being Myst, Katamari Damacy (that one deserves it), Pac-Man, Tetris, The Sims, and Portal (full list and news story here). They also plan to add a ton more games in the future, like Super Mario Bros., The Legend of Zelda, and Minecraft.
The reason I'm so excited about this is that even though general consensus, particularly among gamers, is that video games are an art form, the …
Back Again
Hi loyal fans. I recently was gone for atleast a month. You probably thought I had resigned from the wiki and left you forever. I was just in a writing rut and didn't have the heart to write anything for awhile. That has changed and I'm back to fill your minds with awesomeness of the brain. Or whatever that stuff is. I've already done 2 new reviews you might want to check out. Star Wars: Rougue Squadron (N64) and uhhhhh..... I forgot the other one, but you can look in my contributions to find it. I just can't put a finger on it..... anyway. I'm back and here to write some more.
Sincerely, The Amazing Gibie Dude
Camping
I'm sure none of you care about my camping trip, but I'm going to write this anyway. My family and I caught 2 catfish. The fish weren't biting very much anyway. We even got to take our dog out in the boat. It was pretty fun. We rode our bikes everywhere. All over the park. We had alot of fun. See ya.
My Beginner's Guide to Game Reviewing!
As I try to make The Game Reviews Wiki a better and stronger community by telling people about it and telling them to drop by and contribute, I notice a consistent pattern; people typically decide against visiting because they don't have enough time, and a game review is just too big of an undertaking. Even those great people (thank these people) who consistently contribute their own reviews only do them in parts.
Now, make no mistake, going at a comfortable pace is not a bad thing at all. In fact, I encourage it. But, the point of this article is to help all you new users get your start in the practice of game reviewing, and to help those of you who contribute already to make a smoother process of it.
For this guide, I won't be using any corn…
My Plans
I think we need to make plans and lists as we do our daily things. So I'm goind to make a list of reviews that I plan on doing. They will mostly be N64 because I specialize in the history of that era.
- Mario 64
- Donkey Kong 64
- Ready 2 Rumble
- New Super Mario Bros.
- Monsters vs. Aleins
- Madden 01
I'll try to work on these as soon as possible. For anyone who reads this, you are allowed to edit them for spelling and grammer when needed. Thank you in advance. (I need it.) I will be gone for a few days so I may not get much done.
How I will review
When my good cyber-friend, Element, told me that he created a new wiki for game reviews, I was totally impressed. I'm currently thinking of making a series about games that I currently own. The series will be called: The Weekly Picky (is it awful?).
"*" = Already made.

My Continuing List of Favorite Legend of Zelda Songs!
Ever since I first played The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess years ago, I have been a super-epic fan of The Legend of Zelda as a magnificent whole. However, it wasn't until pretty recently that I really started getting into listening the music, you know, really appreciating it to the fullest extent. Ever since then, I've been hooked on listening to music from the entire series, no matter how crazy it could get.
I got the idea for this page when I was listening to a Top 10 Zelda Song list on YouTube that I really enjoyed that was made by a fellow called HarniKawa. In the description, he listed the songs and said why he enjoyed each of them so much. This gave me the idea, in turn, to write up my own blog about my favorite songs from the serie…
How To Avoid Hating People (Even If They Wear The Wrong Color)
Many ruder-than-scientific words exist for "homosexual"; the faceless internet crams my inbox with them every day.
Usually, they're in YouTube comments.
I like when I get a YouTube comment from someone who says something interesting—or nice, though interesting is more fun than nice. I like to immediately engage that person in conversation. I like using the internet for conversation: that's why I write articles and blogs. I like talking to people in the comments.
Because I sometimes get interesting comments, I leave inbox notifications on for YouTube. Every time I get a comment on YouTube, a mail pops into my inbox.
Nine times out of ten, it's from a person telling me that they disapprove of my existence. They use some objectively not-nice word…
Hey! I made a game!
My friends and I made a video game. I'm going to talk about it for a bit. Maybe you'll decide you want to play it. It would be nice if that happened. The game is called ZiGGURAT. As of this week, it's available for iOS devices—the iPhone and iPad. It costs a dollar.
I typically use this wiki or any other website to engage in my curious hobbies, one of which is to be a jerk about video games, so that I can read the negative comments, brainstorming one-liners I'll never utter. (Yes, the previous sentence was a sort of Weird Satire.) Today, I'm going to be totally direct. Consider this a look at my professional side.
I'll start from the top. I had to write a press release and an App Store description days ago, so I've obtained a level up on the…
