Super Smash Flash 2

This is the logo for Super Smash Flash 2.

Super Smash Flash 2 is one in a series of flash games produced by McLeod Gaming. The first title in the series was simply called Super Smash Flash, and was based on the popular Nintendo GameCube game Super Smash Bros. Melee. Similarly, this title is based off of the most recent title in the Smash Bros. series, known as Super Smash Bros. Brawl (which I will review).

I may have first heard about this game on Game Ideas Wiki, but I think it may have been something that kept coming up in Suggestions as I typed in "Super Smash Bros. Brawl." Either way, I decided to look it up, and found that I could play a small demo version, which allowed unlimited brawling and took only a minute or two to load.

I continue to play it, and it remains my favorite game that I've ever played on a computer. Being an enormous fan of Super Smash Bros. Brawl as well as the Internet, you can easily understand my valuing of the instant ability to click on a link and just be able immediately to play a perfect online clone of Brawl. Well, this game did it for me.

The character roster for this game is highly unconventional. In fact, it shows that the creator is an avid fan of anime, with characters like Naruto, Goku, and Ichigo, as well as some Final Fantasy characters. However, this is not without the old Nintendo characters like Mario, Link, Peach, Wario, Yoshi, Pikachu, Kirby, Ness, Donkey Kong, and Fox. I just decided to go right along with the roster and found that I enjoyed having the strange characters in there. In fact, I've played as a few of them at least once, and one of them, Lloyd, is probably my second-best character in the entire game.

The game has very little lag, and very few complete disruptions, and not only that, but the game functions flawlessly. The items work great, the characters are well-voiced, well-put together, and the moves work as predicted, and without a hitch. I also love the incredible new stages added to the game, and the way they feel perfectly natural, just like something you would expect to play in Brawl. The entire felt like a great game, a clone that is just as fun to play as it's mother title and easily accessible to play on the computer.

This continues to be, as I stated before, my favorite game to play on my computer, even with the advent of the ability to play classic games on it. You should absolutely, without doubt play this game. If you like the Smash Bros. series, you will love this.
